Article 101

Formerly known as Article 81 of the EC Treaty. Article 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) ( www.practicallaw.com/A35020). This prohibits as anti-competitive all agreements, decisions and practices between undertakings and concerted practices which may affect trade between EU member states ( www.practicallaw.com/A36433) and which have as their object or effect the prevention, restriction or distortion of competition within the internal market ( www.practicallaw.com/A34708).
