In Page and another v Hewetts Solicitors and another [2012] EWCA Civ 805, the Court of Appeal considered an appeal against an order for summary judgment that had been granted on the ground that the claim was statute barred. The decision turned on when the claim was "brought" for the purpose of the Limitation Act 1980.
