FOIA dataset provisions from 1 September 2013: new fees regulations and ICO guidance

On 7 August 2013, the Freedom of Information (Release of Datasets for Re-use) (Fees) Regulations 2013 (SI 2013/1997) were made, which govern the fees that public bodies can charge for the release of datasets under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The regulations come into force with the rest of the dataset provisions, on 1 September 2013. On 9 August 2013, the Information Commissioner's Office published a blog and guidance on the dataset changes.
