Information Tribunal orders disclosure of deceased person's medical records

The First-tier Tribunal (Information Rights), overturning the Information Commissioner's decision, has ordered an NHS Trust to disclose the medical records of a deceased individual, finding that the exemption in section 41(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 was not engaged. (Armstrong v Information Commissioner and Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, EA/2014/0165, 3 February 2015.)
