EAT overturns finding of "harassment by hearsay" as tribunal had excluded relevant evidence
In Habinteg Housing Association Ltd v Holleron UKEAT/0274/14, the EAT overturned a tribunal's finding of harassment based on hearsay evidence of a conversation to which the claimant had not been a party, while ignoring direct evidence from one of the parties to the conversation that the alleged discriminatory words about the claimant were never spoken.
