Published a new Practice note, Professional negligence: examples of cases by profession, which illustrates the court's approach in certain cases involving claims against solicitors, accountants, valuers and other professionals.

Published a new Practice note, Complying with the Professional Negligence Pre-action Protocol, providing a practical guide to the protocol and the steps to be taken to ensure compliance with it, in light of the revised protocol that came into force on 6 April 2015.

Reviewed Practice note, Defending a professional negligence claim: a guide for solicitors, a practical guide for those instructed to defend a claim, including some of the issues that may arise when acting for either the insurer or the insured (or both).
