Alternative English apprenticeship

An approved English apprenticeship ( www.practicallaw.com/2-614-1446) under the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009 (ASCLA 2009) (as amended by the Deregulation Act 2015, with effect from 26 May 2015). An alternative English apprenticeship is an arrangement under which a person works and is of a kind described in regulations made by the Secretary of State. Such regulations may relate to cases where a person works otherwise than for another person or otherwise than for reward.
