Oral contract to negotiate land purchase not construction contract (TCC)

In Husband and Brown Ltd v Mitch Developments Ltd [2015] EWHC 2900 (TCC), HHJ Moulder in the Manchester District Registry of the Technology and Construction Court (TCC) determined the nature of the parties' oral contract to find and negotiate a land purchase, deciding that it was not a construction contract. The adjudicator had lacked jurisdiction and the claimant was not entitled to recover those costs.
