The four main regulations setting the guidelines for thetelephony sector were recently finalised by President Fernando dela Rúa, who signed Executive Order 764 and the regulations.Some issues, however, such as the proposed introduction of amulticarrier system, have not yet been dealt with and will be theobject of a public consultation between the interestedcompanies.
