Senior Courts Costs Office

Formerly known as the Supreme Court Costs Office. Prior to the introduction of the Civil Procedure Rules this was known as the Supreme Court Taxing Office. A distinct part of the High Court. Its primary function is the assessment of costs which are recoverable from a litigant by another litigant or from a client by a lawyer.
