FSA's supervisory enhancement programme
This practice note outlines the work carried out by the FSA to review and improve its own supervisory practices in response to the financial crisis and, in particular, to the Northern Rock crisis. It looks at changes introduced under the FSA's supervisory enhancement programme (SEP), with particular focus on the FSA's adoption of a more intensive approach to supervision.
