On 23 August 2013, the Information Commissioner's Office announced that it had updated its model publication schemes, sector-specific definition documents and guidance, all in order to reflect the datasets provisions that are coming into force on 1 September 2013 under the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012. It also announced the publication of some new sector-specific definition documents.
