OFT accepts binding commitments in hotel online booking case

On 31 January 2014, the OFT announced that it has decided under section 31A of the Competition Act 1998 to accept binding commitments from Booking.com, Expedia and IHG to address the OFT's competition concerns in relation to the online offering of room only hotel accommodation bookings by online travel agencies.
