A table on the charges that apply to all adult defendants who are convicted in either the magistrates' court or the Crown Court for offences that have been committed on or after 13 April 2015. On 3 December 2015 the Lord Chancellor, Michael Gove, announced in an address to the Magistrates Association in London that the charge will be abolished from 24 December 2015.
