In Tachie and others v Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council [2013] EWHC 3972 (QB), the High Court rejected a challenge to a decision by the council to contract out its homelessness functions under Part VII of the Housing Act 1996 to an arms length management organisation (ALMO).
