In J v J [2014] EWHC 3654 (Fam), Mostyn J stated that he would refer concerns about excessive legal costs in ancillary relief cases and non-compliance with Practice Direction 27A of the Family Procedure Rules to the President of the Family Division, so that the Family Procedure Rules committee can consider reforms.
