Approved English apprenticeship

An arrangement that takes place under an approved English apprenticeship agreement ( www.practicallaw.com/6-614-1487) or an alternative English apprenticeship ( www.practicallaw.com/0-614-1522) and, in either case, satisfies conditions specified in regulations made by the Secretary of State. The concept of an approved English apprenticeship was introduced in amendments to the Apprenticeships Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009 by the Deregulation Act 2015 with effect from 26 May 2015.
