New industry classification for FT-SE indices
The FT-SE Actuaries Industry Classification Committee is introducing a new classification system for companies in the FT-SE indices, from 4th January, 1994. Many companies have objected to the new sector or sub-sector allocated to them and some have succeeded in persuading the Committee to re-classify them.
