Bill of costs

A detailed statement of a party's costs of litigation prepared (usually by a costs draftsperson or costs lawyer) for a detailed assessment . Note that from 6 April 2018 a new bill of costs format was introduced, following recommendations by Lord Justice Jackson in his Report of his Review of Civil Litigation Costs.
