The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has proposed a number of changes to the legislation governing negligence cases.
Note: The Queen’s speech on 4 June 2014 included the Social Action, Responsibility and Heroism Bill, which proposes reforms to the law of negligence, to require the courts to consider the circumstances in which the alleged negligence took place.
