Automatically unfair dismissal

Certain dismissals are automatically unfair dismissals ( www.practicallaw.com/0-200-3624) , for example, where the dismissal is for a reason related to a TUPE ( www.practicallaw.com/8-107-7424) transfer (where there is no economic, technical or organisational reason ( www.practicallaw.com/4-200-3189) ), the assertion of a statutory right, trade union ( www.practicallaw.com/0-200-3619) membership or participation, or pregnancy or maternity. There is no minimum qualifying period ( www.practicallaw.com/6-200-3433) of employment for most categories of automatically unfair dismissal.
