Automatically unfair dismissal

A dismissal for an "inadmissible" reason that, unlike ordinary unfair dismissal, cannot be rectified by following a fair procedure. Examples include dismissals for a reason related to a TUPE transfer, for the assertion of a statutory right, or because of pregnancy or maternity. There is no minimum qualifying period of employment for most categories of automatically unfair dismissal.
