Environment Agency guidance on qualification
The First Phase of the CRC runs from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2014. (Note that this was previously known as the Introductory Phase or Phase 1.)
The Environment Agency published, in June 2013, revised guidance on how the remainder of this phase will operate: EA: CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme guidance for participants in Phase 1 (2010-2011 to 2013-2014) (Version 2.2) (June 2013) (www.practicallaw.com/1-547-5988).
The Initial Phase will run from 1 April 2014 to 31 March 2019. (Note that this was previously known as Phase 2.)
Organisations that qualify for the Initial Phase need to register as participants in the scheme in November 2013 to 31 January 2014. The Environment Agency published, in May 2013, revised guidance on how to assess whether you qualify for the Initial Phase: EA guidance: CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme: Assessing Qualification and Registering for Phase 2 (May 2013) (www.practicallaw.com/3-531-6286). For more information on the revised guidance, see Legal update, Environment Agency publishes new version of CRC guidance manual for phase two (www.practicallaw.com/9-531-6231).
