This practice note describes the regulatory regime that applies to certain video-on-demand (VOD) providers. VOD providers whose services fall within the statutory definition of an 'on-demand programme service' are subject to requirements to notify ATVOD of their operation, pay regulatory fees, keep programme copies and comply with content and advertising restrictions.
