In Hewitsons LLP v Wood [2014] EWCA Civ 1698, the Court of Appeal considered an application for permission for a second appeal. The issue being appealed was whether the defendant was required to be sued in Scotland (where she lived and was domiciled) when the claim against her was a claim for payment of fees by an English firm of solicitors.
