Importance of disclosure and cross-examination when striking out for improper conduct (Court of Appeal)

In Alpha Rocks Solicitors v Alade [2015] EWCA Civ 685, the Court of Appeal considered whether it was appropriate to strike out a claim by solicitors to recover their costs on the basis that one of their bills was partly false and deliberately exaggerated and another was brought on the basis of fabricated documents and an inaccurate bill of costs.
Note: the Supreme Court refused permission to appeal this decision on 9 November 2015.
