Proposed agricultural worker’s dwelling fails Welsh planning policy financial test (Planning Inspectorate)

In McDermott v Caerphilly County BC [2015] PAD 44 the planning inspector dismissed an appeal regarding the proposed construction of a permanent dwelling for an agricultural worker in Wales. Welsh planning policy imposes five tests for a rural enterprise dwelling. This proposal failed the financial test in Technical Advice Note 6 (TAN6).
