In EMI Group Ltd v O & H Q1 Ltd [2016] EWHC 529 (Ch), the High Court has considered the validity of an assignment of a lease by a tenant to the tenant's guarantor.
Note added: The parties settled before the appeal scheduled for May 2017 was heard.
