A note setting out the property issues relating to an Academy established under (or converted under) the Academies Act 2010, as amended by the Education Act 2011. Those sections of the note which deal with the land issues that arise where land is held on trust have been contributed to by Lee Bolton Monier-Williams Solicitors and have been informed by the firm's work with the Department for Education, on behalf of the Church of England in relation to church schools.
