Court of Appeal overturns judgment on adjudicator bias

by PLC Construction
In Lanes Group plc v Galliford Try Infrastructure Ltd (t/a Galliford Try Rail) [2011] EWCA Civ 1617, in a conjoined appeal, the Court of Appeal has upheld Akenhead J's first instance judgment in Lanes Group plc v Galliford Try Infrastructure Ltd [2011] EWHC 1035 (TCC), but only partly upheld HHJ Waksman QC's judgment in Lanes Group plc v Galliford Try Infrastructure Ltd [2011] EWHC 1679 (TCC).
Note added (13.06.2012): The Supreme Court refused permission to appeal against the decision of the Court of Appeal, on 17 May 2012 (see PTA-1205).
