High Court stays proceedings on basis that England is not a convenient forum

In Mengiste and another v Endowment Fund for The Rehabilitation of Tigray and others [2013] EWHC 599 (Ch), the court considered whether to grant a stay of English proceedings in favour of the Ethiopian courts.
Note, in Mengiste and another v Endowment Fund for the Rehabilitation of Tigray and others [2014] EWHC 4196 (Ch), Peter Smith J upheld the stay and dealt with other issues.
The decision of Peter Smith J was upheld by the Court of Appeal in Mengiste and another v Endowment Fund for the Rehabilitation of Tigray and others [2017] EWCA Civ 1326 (Ch).
