In Blue Bank International & Trust (Barbados) Ltd v Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (ICSID Case No. ARB/12/20), the Chairman of the ICSID Administrative Council considered a challenge to an arbitrator's appointment, on the ground that the arbitrator's law firm was acting in parallel proceedings against the respondent.
