A Court of Protection judge described the case management provisions in the Court of Protection Rules 2007 (SI 2007/1744) as inadequate in tackling delay and costs in the Court of Protection, and referred his judgment to the President of the Court of Protection for consideration (A & B (Court of Protection: Delay and Costs) [2014] EWCOP 48).
