On 22 July 2015, HMRC launched a consultation on improving large business tax compliance. The proposals include compelling large businesses to publish their tax strategies, a voluntary code of tax practice, and "special measures" for those that persistently undertake aggressive tax planning or resist transparency in dealings with HMRC.
