In SGL Carbon Fibres Ltd v RBG Ltd [2011] CSOH 62, Lord Glennie in the Outer House, Scottish Court of Session refused to enforce an adjudicator's decision because the adjudicator had used his own knowledge and experience without giving the parties a proper opportunity to comment and had failed to exhaust his jurisdiction.
