Final report of the Vulnerable Witnesses and Children Working Group published

The Vulnerable Witnesses and Children Working Group has published its final report dated February 2015. The report sets out reforms to current guidelines relating to judges meeting with children who are subject to family proceedings and children giving evidence in family proceedings. The report includes a draft rule change to the Family Procedure Rules to ensure adequate procedures are in place for children and vulnerable witnesses and parties to give best evidence in the Family Court.
