Equity partnership plan

An extension of a deferred share bonus plan. If the employee invests all or some of his bonus in shares, and neither sells these shares nor leaves employment during the deferral period, he will receive a further tranche of shares free at the end of that period. Sometimes, the further shares are contingent on future company performance.
