Acts or omissions prior to the commencement of the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 can still be put in evidence (Crown Court)

In R v Cornish [2015] the court ruled that evidence of acts or omissions that predate the commencement of the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 can still be used as evidence in a corporate manslaughter charge. Further, the court ruled that in the particulars of the case, the Crown was not required to identify individuals that they believed failed to carry out management functions properly.
