The First-tier Tribunal (Information Rights) has allowed in part an appeal from the Information Commissioner's decision concerning a journalist's request for copies of transcripts of police interviews with a suspect, who was subsequently found guilty of murder, and the exemption from disclosure under section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. (Corke v Information Commission and another, EA/2016/0011, 27 June 2016.)
