In Brown and another v Button and others [2011] EWHC 1034 (Ch), the High Court considered the limitation period for a claim under section 212 of the Insolvency Act 1986 by the liquidators of a company against the former directors, regarding loans that were unlawful under section 330 of the Companies Act 1985.
