Improvement notice

Under section 13 of the Pensions Act 2004, the Pensions Regulator (www.practicallaw.com/9-201-5137) can issue an improvement notice to anyone involved in administering or advising a pension scheme, whose action or inaction has led to a contravention of pensions legislation. The notice can direct the person to take or refrain from taking specified steps within a defined period.
