In Teinver SA and others v Argentine Republic (ICSID Case No. ARB/09/1), an ICSID tribunal considered several jurisdictional objections by the respondent, including that the claimants had not complied with the dispute settlement provisions in the bilateral investment treaty (BIT) between Spain and Argentina and that the claimants had no legal standing to bring the claims.
