Time limited adoption searches in final care plans for adoption approved (Court of Appeal)
In CM v Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council [2014] EWCA Civ 1479 the Court of Appeal approved the practice of time limited searches for adoption placements with a parallel search for long-term foster care in cases concerning slightly older children. The court explained further the extent of its powers after the making of a placement order.
