How is holiday pay calculated for an employee at the end of a redundancy trial period?
A client's employee is going through the redundancy process. The employee is two weeks into a four-week trial period in a new role at a lower rate of pay. The employee is not going to take up the new role. Holiday has been accumulated by the employee - should holiday pay be at the higher rate of the previous role, or the lower rate of the current trial role?
