What is the deadline for filing and serving a respondent's skeleton argument for a County Court appeal where no respondent's notice is filed?
We act for the respondent to an appeal in the County Court. The claimant obtained permission to appeal from the district judge and has provided us with his notice of appeal, grounds of appeal, skeleton argument and appeal bundle. The respondent has not filed a respondent's notice, as they simply wish for the judgment to be upheld on the basis of the district judge's reasoning. However, the respondent would like to file and serve a skeleton argument for the appeal. The court hasn't given any directions, so when is the deadline for filing the respondent's skeleton argument?
