In the UK, ONS figures published for spring 2011 show internet retail sales nudging 10% of the UK retail total and growing by 13% year on year. In the same period the IAB and PwC also recorded annual growth in UK internet advertising of 13% with total online ad spend breaching £4bn and advertisers spending £1 in every £4 on the internet.
