As a subscriber to PLC, we want to make sure you get the most out of your subscription to our web services.
PLC are regularly asked by our clients to conduct complimentary training sessions for users – these sessions are tailored to your organisation's individual requirements and can be delivered face-to-face or online.
The reason our clients schedule training is to ensure their users are experts in the use of our web services and applications, all of which are designed to save time, improve efficiency, reduce duplication of effort and encourage consistency of working and knowledge.
PLC's dedicated team of trainers are able to deliver your training session in a number of formats to suit the needs of your organisation. It is important to note that all sessions require a computer with internet and MS Word access to be available as the training is conducted on PLC's live web services. The available formats are:
In addition, we have broadcast a number of scenario-specific webinars, designed to give attendees an understanding of how PLC resources can be used to tackle everyday working situations. Click here to download a webinar on demand.
PLC trainers make use of the live website to conduct their training sessions. The basic premise is that the trainer can explore the key features and functionality and relate these to specific elements of the attendee's roles.
Each session, lasting no more than an hour and tailored to fit your firm’s requirements, will provide:
Furthermore, our trainers can engage with you in advance of the scheduled session to plan and develop a scenario-based session, focusing on methods and techniques for using PLC resources to answer a typical query or request that the attendees may encounter in their daily roles. This is particularly suitable for the classroom format of training.
If your organisation has been accredited with the Solicitors Regulation Authority to carry out your own training, you are able to cite PLC Training on our webservices as creditable hours, using the CPD reference for your organisation.
To schedule a session with one of the PLC Trainers, please complete the form on the right of this page, e-mail training@practicallaw.com or call 020 3423 6521
Whilst PLC Training is free of additional charge and is included in your organisation's subscription fees, there are costs associated with sending our trainers to conduct sessions on site. Should you need to cancel a scheduled session, we do ask that you provide as much notice as possible so that unnecessary costs are avoided.
Please contact your trainer directly or e-mail training@practicallaw.com if you need to cancel a pre-booked training session with PLC.
