About the lectures

Will you have new trainees or recently qualified lawyers in your Property Department this Autumn? Are you a new trainee starting a seat in Property?

To build confidence in areas that the Legal Practice Course does not cover in detail, why not book a place on our October series of breakfast lectures? These will approach tricky issues in a practical way, ensuring the delegates understand what to watch out for and why. The notes, checklists and sample drafting discussed in the sessions should help delegates manage their workload more efficiently.

Agreements for Lease

  • Standard sale conditions – do they apply?
  • Preconditions – consents, planning, vacant possession
  • Assignability (and interplay with LTA 1954 rules)
  • Typical covenants relating to works
  • Interim occupation
  • Ensuring the lease is ultimately granted
