Diane Mullenex is a Partner in the London office of Pinsent Masons, heading the Global Telecommunications practice leading the firm's activities on telecommunications matters worldwide.

Diane specialises in and has extensive experience advising a wide range of clients in telecommunications, technology and other highly regulated industries, such as gaming and gambling. In particular, Diane specialises in complex multi-discipline, cross-border matters which have earned her the reputation as an expert in this field. She brings her unique international experience in the sector to our clients and, in particular, leads the firm's worldwide activities on all industry foremost issues, including connected objects and smart cities. Dual qualified in France and England, she worked for seven years in Asia before returning to Europe. She has worked in Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa, where her clients seek her advice notably on entry into new markets, cross border transactions, broadband strategy and rollout, as well as digital transformation projects.

Diane speaks French, English and Spanish. She is the Chair of the communication committee of the International Bar Association and a member of the International Masters of Gaming Law and the International Association of Gaming Advisors. She is also a Foreign Trade Advisor appointed by the French Government. She was recently awarded the Insignia of Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite for her involvement in promoting the French TMT sector. Diane is regularly called upon to speak at industry conferences and events.

Her areas of practice include telecommunications (interconnection, roaming, broadcast and transmission arrangements policy development, complaints (national and international)), IT and BPO outsourcing transactions (communication ventures and cloud computing infrastructures), gaming and gambling, data privacy, and e-commerce, m-commerce and online security.
