Information Tribunal ruling on FOIA commercial interest exemption concerning tender information

The First-tier Tribunal (Information Rights), confirming the Information Commissioner's decision, has held that the department for Work and Pensions did not have to disclose certain information from a tender contractor as it was exempt under the commercial interest exemption (section 43(2), Freedom of Information Act 2000). (Jackley v Information Commissioner, EA/2016/0082, 4 August 2016.)
