FOIA: Councillor's response to a complaint of breach of code of conduct exempt from disclosure under section 40(2) (FTT(IR))

On 7 November 2016, the First-tier Tribunal (Information Rights) held in Thompson v Information Commissioner and another (EA/2016/0044) that a former councillor's response to a formal complaint made against him of an alleged breach of a council's code of conduct was exempt from disclosure under section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (personal information).
